The GMC Sierra lineup of pickups are some of the hardest working trucks on the market, offering everything from basic work trucks to luxury adjacent toy haulers that offer top-of-the-line amenities. Don Larson Chevrolet Buick GMC, we are proud to offer drivers an inventory that has the trucks that work just as hard as they do.
GMC Sierra 1500
With eight available trims, the GMC Sierra 1500 has something to offer every driver in Wisconsin Dells. From the Pro, with its focus on dirty boots and hauling tools, to the Denali Ultimate, which gives European luxury cars a run for their money, drivers have choices with the Sierra 1500.
Sierra 1500 Powerplants
Drivers choosing the Sierra 1500 have a choice of four engines. The base models come standard with a 2.7-liter I4 that produces 310 horsepower. The next choice is a 5.3-liter V8 that makes 355 horsepower. The third option is a 6.2-liter V8 that makes 420 horsepower. Last, there is the option of a 3.0-liter Duramax turbocharged diesel I4 that makes 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. The Sierra 1500 offers two transmissions. The first is an eight-speed and comes with a 2.7-liter. The second is a ten-speed, which is mounted to all the other engines.
Towing and Hauling
When equipped with the Duramax diesel and two-wheel drive, the Sierra 1500 can pull up to 13,200 pounds. For drivers in Lake Delton looking to maximize the bed capacity, the 2.7-liter and the 5.3-liter both max out at 2,240 pounds of payload for two-wheel drive models.
GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500
These heavy-duty trucks are built to pull heavy trailers and carry the tools drivers need to do the job. Offered in seven trims, the Sierra 2500 and Sierra 3500 offer drivers a lot of choice and a lot of power.
Sierra Heavy Duty Engines
With two engines available, the Sierra Heavy Duty trucks are some of the most powerful on the market. The first engine is a 6.6-liter V8 that produces 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. The second option is a 6.6-liter Duramax turbo-diesel V8 that makes 470 horsepower and a massive 975 pound-feet of torque. Both are attached to a ten-speed automatic that delivers the right amount of power when needed.
Sierra Heavy Duty Towing and Hauling
For the Sierra 2500, the maximum payload rating is 3,850 pounds with the regular cab, four-wheel drive, and the diesel. Higher trims get a 13.4-inch touchscreen display with features like split screen navigation, showing drivers the map they need without switching screens to skip a song.
